Shipping Policy

Last Updated: 11/01/2026

At tiQbar, we are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality farm produce safely and efficiently. Please review our shipping terms carefully before placing an order.

1. Order Processing & Harvest Time

  • Freshness First: Because our produce is harvested to order, processing times are linked to harvest cycles. Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Orders are not processed on Sundays or public holidays to ensure our farming partners have adequate rest.

  • You will receive a confirmation message via email or SMS with delivery details once your order has been dispatched.

2. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to:

  • Lagos, Nigeria (Primary Delivery Zone)

  • Selected neighboring areas (Availability is confirmed at checkout based on your specific location).

3. Shipping Methods & Timeframes

To maintain the integrity of our produce, we use specialized local couriers.

  • Standard Delivery: Estimated delivery within 24–48 hours after processing.

  • Express/Same-Day Delivery: Available for select Lagos zip codes on orders placed before 9:00 AM.

  • Note: Delivery timeframes are estimates. While we strive for punctuality, delays may occur due to:

    • Lagos traffic conditions

    • Extreme weather

    • Public holidays

4. Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Delivery Zone: Distance from our farm hubs in Lagos.

  • Parcel Weight/Volume: Total size of your produce haul.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched.

5. Delivery Responsibility

tiQbar is responsible for your order until it is successfully delivered to the address provided at checkout.

  • Accuracy: If the customer provides an incorrect or incomplete address, we are not responsible for failed delivery or the spoilage of perishable goods.

  • Re-delivery: Additional shipping fees for re-delivery will apply if the courier cannot gain access to the provided address.

6. Damaged or Missing Items

Because produce is perishable, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery if your items:

  • Are confirmed lost in transit.

  • Arrive visibly damaged or spoiled.

  • To file a claim, please provide your order number and clear photos of the damaged produce and packaging.

  • After verification, we will offer either a replacement (subject to seasonal availability) or a full refund.

7. Delivery Confirmation & Safety

Once an order is marked as delivered by our courier:

  • tiQbar is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

  • Given the nature of fresh food, we strongly recommend that someone is available to receive the package or that a cool, shaded delivery spot is provided.

8. Delays Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Unforeseen road closures or industrial actions.

  • Natural disasters.

  • Government restrictions or sudden public holidays.
